Delta faucets

Delta faucets are one of the most popular bands of faucet on the market. Especially when it comes to kitchen faucets.

Delta faucets are fully repairable and sell complete kits in order to do this. The handle comes off with an allen wrench from the front of the handle.

If the handle is removed, and this is what you see, then chances are that you have a delta faucet or delta knock off model. The other piece in the picture is the delta wrench. It has the proper size allen wrench on it, plus the 2 prongs for tightening and loosening the tension nut on top of the faucet(as shown)

Removing the top bonnet nut(chrome top) will allow all of the inside parts to be removed.

The 2 springs and the two black rubber seats above them are the 2 most common parts to need replacement. Be sure to grease all moving parts during reinstallation.

The faucet body has a locating pin for the main ball. This needs to be lined up with the ball. The top plastic piece known as the cam has a small tab/pin on the left hand side. There is also a slot on the body for this tab to line up with. With a new rebuild, this tab can be hard to keep in place while screwing down the top bonnet nut.

There are a few other styles of parts for delta faucets. We will be documenting and adding more regularly, so be sure to check back often.
